Kyrgyzstan Packaging Regulations
EAEU Technical Regulation TR CU 022/2011 governs food labelling across all five EAEU member states; Russian-language labels are mandatory. Kyrgyz-language labelling is additionally required for products sold in Kyrgyzstan under national legislation. ST KG national standards (Kyrgyz national standards) supplement EAEU TRs for domestically sold goods. The EAC (Eurasian Conformity) mark is required for all regulated products distributed within the EAEU. Pharmaceutical packaging requires registration with the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic (MOHKR) and must comply with EAEU pharmaceutical regulations. The State Inspection for Sanitary, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Safety (Gosinspekciya) handles food import control at borders.
