Packaging & Label Design for Oman Brands
We design Arabic and English packaging and labels for Omani food, dates, honey, frankincense, supplement and beauty brands selling through Lulu, Al Fair, pharmacies and export channels. Local products often carry a story worth telling, so we give heritage and origin room on the front panel while keeping required information clear on the back. Labels start from about OMR 57 ($149) and packaging from about OMR 115 ($299) per design, with a fixed quote within 24 hours. We don't work on CBD packaging for Oman. You receive print-ready files with dielines, bleed and barcode placement, ready for your printer in Muscat or elsewhere.
Labeling requirements in Oman
Oman's Food Safety and Quality Center (FSQC) oversees food registration, and the Ministry of Health oversees medicinal and related health products. Arabic is required on food labels, usually alongside English.
- Food: the Gulf standard GSO 9 covers the product name, origin, ingredients, dates and Arabic text. Arabic stickers may be accepted on imports.
- Registration: food products are registered electronically with the FSQC before sale.
- Supplements: generally handled by the Ministry of Health's pharmaceutical directorate, so confirm before printing.
- Cosmetics: follow Gulf standards GSO 1943 and GSO 2528, with Arabic and English labelling. Confirm import requirements with your agent.
- CBD: we don't design CBD packs for this market.
We lay out the regulatory text and claims you supply; final regulatory review stays with you or your regulatory adviser.
