Packaging & Label Design for Saudi Arabia Brands
We design Arabic-first packaging and labels for Saudi food, coffee, date, supplement and cosmetic brands selling through Panda, Tamimi, Nahdi and online. Arabic leads the layout, with English added where it helps, so the pack feels local rather than translated. Labels start from about SAR 560 ($149) and packaging from about SAR 1,120 ($299) per design, with a fixed quote within 24 hours. We don't work on CBD packaging for Saudi Arabia, where it is not permitted. You receive print-ready files with dielines, bleed and barcode placement, ready for your printer in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, or for your co-packer.
Labeling requirements in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulates food, supplements and cosmetics. Arabic is mandatory on required label information.
- Food: the SFDA's labelling technical regulations and GSO 9 set requirements for Arabic text, ingredients, dates, origin and nutrition.
- Supplements: must meet SFDA.FD 55. High doses or unaccepted claims can move a product to the drug pathway, so unclear products should request classification first.
- Cosmetics: notified through the SFDA's eCosma system, with a licensed local representative for foreign makers and Arabic information on pack.
- Halal: meat and other relevant products need certification accepted by the SFDA.
- CBD: not permitted, so we don't design CBD packs for this market.
We lay out the regulatory text and claims you supply; final regulatory review stays with you or your regulatory adviser.
