Slovakia has one of Europe's highest automotive production rates per capita: Volkswagen's Bratislava plant (producing Volkswagen Touareg, Audi Q7/Q8, and Porsche Cayenne), the Kia plant in Žilina (producing Kia Sportage, Ceed, and the all-electric EV6 for European markets), and Stellantis (formerly PSA) in Trnava make Slovakia consistently the EU's top car producer per capita. Electronic component manufacturing (specifically power semiconductors for automotive applications) is concentrated in Nitra and Trenčín districts. Slovak Tokajské víno (from the Slovak portion of the Tokaj wine region, south of Košice, a much smaller area than the Hungarian Tokaj) holds EU PDO status; the most prized variety is Tokajský výber (tokaji aszú equivalent), a botrytised sweet wine. Bryndza slovenská, soft sheep's milk cheese made from processed bryndza cheese, holds EU PGI status and is the defining ingredient of bryndzové halušky (Slovakia's national dish).
